A Life Full of Energy and Freedom
Did you know that over 10.3 million people in the Netherlands live with one or more chronic conditions? That’s 59% of the population. Issues like lower back pain, type 2 diabetes, depression, cardiovascular diseases, and rheumatoid arthritis often limit the freedom to do what truly matters, especially in later life. But here’s the good news: relief and recovery are often within reach.
My personal health journey began twelve years ago with a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Inflammation in my feet and ankles, coupled with the prospect of lifelong heavy medication, prompted me to take action. I delved deep into understanding how our body works and what triggers health issues. It turned out my lifestyle was less healthy than I thought—especially in areas like nutrition and sleep. By making a few targeted changes, I initiated a recovery process. Just five months after my diagnosis, I completed the Dam tot Dam Run. That moment of joy was proof of what’s possible with the right approach.
This experience transformed my life and ignited a passion for health. Today, I am trained as a Toxicological Chemist (MSc), Orthomolecular Nutrition Coach, Intermittent Living Coach, and Clinical Psychoneuroimmunologist. I continuously expand my expertise in the intricate interplay between the psyche, immune system, brain, and hormones. This dynamic system dictates how our body responds to changing conditions. However, factors like stress, poor nutrition, toxins, lack of sleep, and improper movement can disrupt this delicate balance.
In my practice, I focus on restoring and preventing these disruptions and slowing the aging process. By addressing the root causes of complaints, I help you work toward a life where you can move freely and energetically. Often, small, achievable steps are enough to make a big difference.
Are you ready to improve your health and achieve your goals? I am here to support you. Together, we’ll ensure you can make the most of life—now and in the future.
